£20k down, (refundable of course) subject to allocation. Would be Sept/Oct build for Nov delivery.

Won't the 488GTB be in full production flow by then? And does that mean they'll do Speciale Aperta's too?

I doubt they will do anymore than the 499 Spiders but I guess they will build as many coupes as they have orders for. That was one of my big concerns when they said it was a regular production and not limited number car and hence pulling out.
Great car but if there are too many its not going to help residuals in a couple of years time which was my plan B.

Just got a build slot for June delivery yesterday as one came available.I was going to buy used later in the year but looking at some of the specs and prices on the market at the moment it made my decision easier.

The different tales you hear… was just checking in on delivery of my car today to be informed Ferrari have a carbon issue and this coupled with the different colour stripes on my car (must be slower drying paint) has put my build back to April….
Dealer also informed me that there were making far less Speciale's than is common folk law and there will be less made than Scuds…… I took a rather big pinch of salt with my chips...

Time will tell of course but I was told (just after the order book had closed so no sales patter required) that there were going to be roughly 2/3 deliveries of the Speciale compared to Scud numbers.
As you say, I'll take that info as one of many possible 'truths'.
