Having seen the damage to paintwork on a 360CS and F430 when wraps were removed, personally I would stay away from wrapping a car. Cuts to paintwork causing corrosion and flaky Ferrari paint on the bumpers coming off with the removal of the wrap frown. CS needed a full respray and the 430 £2k worth of paint work.

I'm sure others will have positive stories to balance that out though.

Just stumbled across an advert on Autotrader for a '09-59 - F430 with a trader in Knutsford (no affiliation etc). Looks lovely with the right bits, assuming this must be one of last cars?

Quick update........ I've put a deposit down on the one at Hamilton Greys, stunning car and perfectly presented plus great service from them, had an independent inspection done at Shiltek and it has some tiny issues (ball joint play and mirror not working) that are being rectified then it's all mine. Still haven't really accepted in my head that in just over a week I'll be the owner of a Ferrari F430 though, I can't wait for that "moment" to happen when it all sinks in. Thanks for the advice over the last few pages too, it's helped a lot even though I bought the first car I saw and almost decided it was mine the second I saw it.

Nice one, think you've done well there. Good spec, good price. Savour the moment, it'll be magical smile

I see the engine bay classing panels are black. Has someone retrofitted carbon versions, have the originals been sprayed, or were the early ones black as opposed to the more common titainium colour?

Judging by the other interior shot I think it's just an overly saturated photo. You can't even make out the carpets! I know they're Nero, but even so.

One of the photos shows a single key, where's the other one?

Well done love that car too. Tried to view it a couple of times but it was still with the owner. Called them on Friday and they said they were just going to collect it, but someone was coming to see it later. Called them back later and they said they had taken a deposit.!!!! Well done you beat me to it. LOL. Hope all goes well enjoy it. Mark.

Welcome to the F430 brotherhood! Are those bonnet stripes painted or a vinyl sticker?

Congratulations! Don't be put off by negative comments, you've achieved a life goal! Enjoy the car, as I'm sure you will. Don't let the value and depreciation comments detract from your enjoyment. And I'm sure you'll be posting on this forum to tell us they won't!

It looks a lovely car, enjoy!!

One thing though - take it easy. There was a chap on the CS forum who bought a nice F430 spider and stuffed it backwards into a lamp post after trying to give it beans coming off a roundabout (he'd owned the car about three days). I that case it was 'almost' funny as he asked for advice before picking it up and everyone said, you guessed it… "take it easy" !!!
