F430 to go as i'm in the market for a red 458 and wondered what are the important options to have.
Im aware of personal preferences but would like your thoughts.

I have just got mine I was looking for red with low miles and. Nice spec must haves are satnav Bluetooth ipod connection carbon steering wheel with LEDs poss parking sensors front and rear then the sky's the limit mine is massive spec and I paid top money but got a near unused car once you start to look around there are a lot of low spec cars out there and you know what they say about resell red same as you I just sold my 430 for a very good price and went for it ,wow what a car such a step up from the 430 good luck

So obligatory that no one else even bothered to mention it. wink

But really it's easy to get hung up on spec. I spent the better part of 6 months looking for a very particular spec F430 Spider F1, missed out on a couple of them through not being quick enough but the rest of the time was just left watching perfectly decent cars come and go. As a consequence I've missed some lovely sunny days that I could've been driving around, instead of dwelling on why I thought it was so important that the car had a yellow speedo (for example).

The base car will be fantastic, particularly if it's your first Ferrari. So long as you buy at the right price point bearing in mind the options it has you can't go far wrong imo.
