I have always liked RL posts, I know he constantly praises McLarens but that's because how strongly he feels that they are the best out there. A few months back I couldn't decide on which car to get next as I didn't have enough experience of makes and issues, depreciation curves etc.
I asked RL about a few things via email and he very kindly helped me in making a choice - I am very grateful for his advice, my 12C spider is amazing!
I will buy a Ferrari in due course but the 12C is staying.
Completely O/T I went to check your garage to ide tidy the v8/v12 bit and realised who you are smile

I did a great lap of Scotland with you with a group of Morgans a while back, I was in the black Aero 8. You drove that Fiat 500 like it was possessed biggrin

That was one of my best driving trips ever thumbup

Boshly it was my pleasure sir. I will never forget that trip. Superb bunch of guys. Been hoping to recreate but alas it's never come to anything. I'm about to join the Mclaren brotherhood and can't wait. Following delivery I may be able to keep up with Jeremyc in his trick gallardo (I'm sure it has turbos!).

You doubting I have a Ferrari is not the issue here

There you go again spouting about 'ferrari sales manager '
You are so obsessed with the marque it's ridiculous. To get the OK from a Ferrari connection makes it 'alright' then.

Your calling me a troll but it is you that owns a macca (supposedly) which keeps trolling the Ferrari v8 forum.

I'll ask again what are you still doing in the Ferrari V8 forum?
Because I at least OWN one.
Why are you here slagging off McLarens and personally abusing me ?????

Trolls belong under a bridge, I suggest even the Humber Bridge isn't big enough for you

Although it's not exactly informative this thread has amused me somewhat smile it's just two adults bickering, no bullying no nastiness no ganging up so relatively harmless.

Biggest difference though is one of them is getting annoyed and the other one is laughing thumbup

I'm sure McLarens are great cars. I just can't get past the grinning chinaman front end on everything since the 12c. Once you've seen it, that's all you see.

You've just ruined all McLarens except the 12C for me! Although I think it's more of a laughing Buddha.

RACIST!! I've got many Chinese friends!

wink

I can see the Buddha reference with that photo but with the development of LEDs I like the way they've incorporated the logo rather than some arbitrary design that may look awful (see Alfa 4C!). It's always going to be a matter of personal taste anyway thumbup

And lastly as an ex Prop Forward (big boned/underheight/fat smile ) I have quite an affinity for Buddha smile

You've kept your rugby prowess under a bushel Andy.
There are many similarities between the Mclaren and a prop, quite well illustrated in this video...

Well I certainly recollect fire and gaseous emissions leading to similar displays though I don't recall anyone lighting a cigarette from them biggrin

You've had a 355, a 430 Spider and briefly a Scud. We know this since every one has been the best car on the planet during your ownership. As was the PET, and doubtless the next thing you buy. So i have to take your constant talking up of the 650 with a huge lump of salt since you are so fickle.

Thank you once again for your useful sorry useless comments. Talk about fickle - Now as all good trolls do please crawl back under your bridge for another 3 months and dream about owning a McLaren.
If I had a £1 for every constructive comment you had every made I would have a bigger debt than the GDP
