Just had a bill from my local F-dealer for 30 minutes' labour diagnosing and rectifying a problem with my 488 charging point.

£123.00 for 30 minutes.

Christ! - I'm looking at F430s (along with 650s's) - what makes the service so expensive? I pay £270 to £400 ish on the R8 V10. I appreciate I'm not using a Ferarri dealer!

I recently paid £1450 for a major on a 430 at an Indy, but I think it is at the more expensive range as independents go.
The year before I paid £830 for an annual, and the year before that I paid £810.

What do you get for that out of curiosity? On my Audi a minor is oil, filters (oil air cabin) and that's about it. A "major" includes brake fluid change and perhaps air con service.
