Manual 599 circa 3x the value of a manual 575. No longer a fair comparison.

599 vs 550. The 599 is a big car. Enzo engine but auto only. Much more modern. Personally I doubt I could use 485 horses often, 611 even less so. 550 much more antiquated in terms of tech and ultimate capabilities but analogue. Both look spectacular in their own ways.

It's a nice decision to have to make.
Sorry I wasn’t clear. I agree Manual 575 versus 599 Manual comparison doesn’t make sense from a cost point of view.

But comparing 550 Manual with 599 Auto doesn’t make sense as one is Auto and One is Manual.

The only logical comparison is 575 Auto versus 599 Auto.

I suspect the 599 would run rings round the 575. Can anyone comment from experience of both?

I sold it in 2015 as had to buy a flat :-(

I loved the modular wheels! Not sure if they were original though.
My 550 had identical modular wheels which were OE. IMO they have better around the edge bolt spacing than the modulars on the 575.

It definitely has factory option FHP (which was a nightmare in London as car was lower than usual). The diamond stitching was added later and is only on the parcel shelf. I loved the modular wheels! Not sure if they were original though. Tubi exhaust made it sound great though not boomy. Tim at Walkersport checked it over for me before I bought it.
Can I ask where you got the shelf trimmed? Would love to get mine done.
The Ferrari Centre did mine. I got the entire rear area done. Looked fantastic.

I know the FHP is worth having on the 575, but is it a big step up for 550, or does it make it less comfortable to drive?
My 550 was plenty firm enough without FHP, it is a GT after all. I would say that the FHP is essential on the 575 (which is softer than the 550 in standard set up) but a negative on the 550 - unless you're primarily driving on smooth flat roads.

good price!
Absolutely. If as described it would have been £150K+ a few years ago!
