Tbh it was a very close call to the other black one with crema they have.
If it helps the two cars look almost identical (I saw them both).
The guy who posted on here was spot on and very helpful when we visited, just that I've always dealt with his colleague previously.
I bought a California from GP Solihull and nothing was too much trouble, would recommend them, but it's easier to say that I've bought another car off them.
I'll be able to post what the car is like when I get it and have driven it some.
Happy hunting.

Been driving around Scotland in one all most of the weekend. Quite a machine. Reasonable MPG on a cruise, terrible when pressing on, so as to be expected really. Very capable, bottoms out occasionally so beware. The gearbox is great in manual mod and works well in auto, too.
I'm sure you'll enjoy driving one.

Thought I'd revive this thread with an update and my thoughts on what the FF is actually like, now I've had her for 4-6 weeks.
I'm not a car reviewer, so just my personal thoughts and how it makes me feel, which may help others who are considering an FF.
Acceleration (8/10)
Not quite as freakishly fast as the Aventador, especially off the line, but it is very quick and would eat most things ... surprisingly quick given the size of the car.
It puts its power down well and whilst it is quick, its more refined that the Lambo, similar ride comfort to my old California
Handling (7/10)
It is a big car, and there is some roll when pushing it harder through corners even in Sports mode and I think the difference between Comfort & Sport is not big enough and the Sports mode should tighten it up more than it does, hence the 7/10
However, for all other uses and general driving it is absolutely sport on.
The Lambo felt like I'd been in a fight every time I got out.
This is a luxurious cruiser, that bites when asked.
It can be a Jekyll and Hyde car in that sense and has 2 personalities.
The back end does step out quite easily, but the tyres don't seem all that sticky either - it's not an issue, just worth mentioning.
I'm not very used to it yet, so I haven't been playing around with everything turned off yet.
Build Quality (9/10)
The car is a fantastic spec car and everything fits nicely, feels a top quality product.
Had a minor niggle (squeek/rattle) on the way home from picking her up, but car collected/fixed/redelivered without any questions (GrayPaul are good in this regard).
The seats are the best seats I've had in a car of this type, very comfortable and very supportive, (not in the same league as my RR but they are a bit special).
Useability (10/10)
My wife has been out 20 or so times in this car in c6 weeks, compared to only 4-5 times over the entire ownership of the Aventador.
My 8yr old daughter loves it in the back and doesn't hit her head on the back of the front seat, when braking suddenly.
It also has the rear DVD screens, which are simple to operate albeit a little dated tech wise.
The car is a true all rounder and very adaptable to various uses, from pottering about to the shops to an enthusiastic drive.
Noticeability (3/10)
Only put this in as it may be important to some.
It's surprising how under the radar it is and doesn't get noticed at all, other by petrol heads and people into cars.
Completely different experience to the Aventador, but that is to be expected (and it was bright green).
Doesn't get as many looks as my old California, but that as red so a bit more 'ferrari like'.
I'm actually quite enjoying the fact that it is quite so discrete.
Sound (6/10)
It's fairly quiet around town and at low revs, although it does open it's valves and howl a bit higher in the rev range.
The windows are double glazed and the sound deadening is very good, but it's a little too quiet for me, so I'm probably going to look at a Capristo/Novitec switchable system just to give it a bit more ooomph when i want it.
Fuel (5/10)
Whilst most won't be bothered (inc me) it's not the best but it's not too bad for this kind of car, if you want 20mpg + look elsewhere.
If you're happy with c15mpg, it's no issue.
Overall, I'm really happy with the car.
It's far more useable having the rear seats and will get used a LOT more than the Aventador.
It's better built, it's more luxurious, the materials in the interior are nicer ... but the two are very different.
I appreciate it's not fair or right comparing it to an Aventador and the two are ENTIRELY different types of car, and teh F12 V Aventador would be closer and the FF to a Maserati/Jag/Aston etc would be more alike (but thought I'd save the questions) .... thing is the FF is in a separate place to most cars as it has lots of comfort but drives more like a 2 seater.
It's so far different that I was actually toying with keeping the Aventador as I do miss the ferocity & lunacy of it, but someones gone and put a deposit down at GrayPaul now .... but I won't be fussed if they pull out as I'd happily have it back, but theres definitely a place for both, they are that different.
Would I recommend one .... Hell Yeah !!!
To the point made earlier on whether people notice the car or not - I recently took a test drive of one from HR owen London. I don't remember anyone noticing it even when driving through Hyde park which was surprising
Overall I thought it was beautifully finished inside, dead easy to drive, very direct steering but seemed a bit too much like a normal car to me. Maybe that was the town driving but I came away thinking it lacked some fun

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWB6vTboO5I This is a great video from Chris Harris - I really think it is a special car inside and out. Also if you've got kids its great as they can come with you! It really can be a special occasion family car. I think it has more class than a 458 as its more understated. Also If you weren't in London and were elsewhere I can guarantee people look round at it - sound usually gives it away v12 ferraris do sound special!
As Bertie says you should get a test drive on some proper road where you can open her up, and get a drive if possible than a quick 20 Minutes so you can really see what you want? I think the FF really seems to be a marmite car - I personally love it
