I would dearly love an FF and even have a plate ready and waiting for when that day arrives.....the above car looks to be pretty much my ideal spec! Stunning, stunning, stunning.

Just got to work out how to get one now!

I had the rosso maranello FF. I think the shape works well in that colour. It's a caged animal around town (the 612 is much more enjoyable at these speeds, although it turns into a sauna when sitting in traffic). Very practical and comfortable. Downsides are the width and not as exciting at legal speeds.

Exhaust note is lovely towards the top end of the rev range and best appreciated with the windows down through a street with high buildings either side. I think the price may bottom out just under the 100K mark. The list price is more expensive to begin with, so don't think it will get down to 612/456 levels.

I found it hard to get used to the design of the rear 3/4s.

There's an FF in this colour for sale at Swindon.... one of the most stunning colours I've seen on a Ferrari !

Is it just me or are they getting more expensive? The early used ones used to be low £130s but now they're all starting about £150/£160k.

The new model will be released next year. If it is a V8 turbo I can see the V12 values holding firm.

The FF has really grown on me. When it first came out I didn't like it but in hindsight perhaps I didnt 'get it'. Now I think they are absolutely fantastic cars.

Not sure when they were low £130's but when I was looking at them around this time last year they were around the £160k mark. Similar car is low £150's today. Not sure the price is going up but it is definitely flattening.

The FF is a great car. I'd choose one over the LT, he's in the fortunate position of owning both.

Whatever your opinion of Shmee, you have to admire him buying an FF as a Daily Driver. Although central London is probably one of the few places it makes sense as you can perform most local errands on foot or by taxi/Uber more conveniently than in a personal motorcar.

He will never be to everyones taste, Im nosey so would still like to know how he's made it, but I think he's great personally.
I like the fact he's very supportive of mclaren (who not everyone gets).

I also personally love the FF. Id prefer it over an F12 I think, purely as so much more useable and you can drive it with 4 full sized adults in it. A very clever choice by tim the only other car that fits his criteria in my opinion would be the Maserati Granturismo (or MC Stradale 4 seat). But the added benefit is that the FF is awd within legal speeds biggrindriving

Good on him

I've only ever watched about 30 seconds of one of his videos, it's not my bag. However, when he used to post on here I always thought that he came across like a thoroughly likeable lad. Hat off to him if he's funding these by doing what he loves!

Totally agree, my comment was directed towards his mannerisms. But his enthusiasm and passion comes across clearly. Really couldn't care less how he affords them, it's his own business.

I didn't mean how he makes his money in a derogatory sense whatsoever, just want to make my own way in life also smile FairPlay to anyone who has a good quality of life and can afford the cars he currently has. Not a bad two car garage - an FF and a 675LT. What a lovely combo; and even better - They're both blue! biggrin

There was an admirably honest thread a couple of months ago with lots of the details at the time of his last McLaren order or delivery - sadly it seems to have now gone

My tyres are nearly due for changing so I'm wondering about sticking a set of winter or all season tyres on it.

Anyone else got any one, any recommendations?

Just gotta to share...........just completed my first 10k miles in a FF - what a complete super car

Rain snow sun all no problem

Adrenalin and hoonish yob behaviour on a private track no problem

3 hours plus at 100mph plus no problem

Supermarkets no problem

Fields no problem

What an effing car this thing although I am still not convinced by the arse!
