What you waiting for a dry day for? It's an FF? wink
It's bee out being used every day, rain shine or snow!

But it just seemed reasonable to wait for a dry road before deploying 650bhp!

Having gone back for a drive last weekend, I was really surprised at just how good the FF is to drive.

I then spent the week watching Chris Harris's & Harry Metcalfe's reviews of the FF many times over, and wheying up options & costs eek to which I then applied a LOT of man maths which made owning an FF seem much more sensible (almost profitable ha ha), then I popped back and treated myself for my birthday .... should pick her up early March once it's been prepped and had paint protection etc applied.

Spec is 2014 Nero Black car. 2k mls, with cream diamond stitch leather, glass roof, passenger display, rear entertainment and lots of shiny carbon bits.

Yes it will probably depreciate like a stone, but we're only here once!

Now comes "the long wait" whistle
Good job!

Sounds like a lovely spec, clearly we need pics!!

Only have a couple of pics I took the other weekend ....

Looks fab, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Very different thing to the Aventador I would imagine, not got the shock and awe, but so much more usable, a slow burner.

I think FFs are really colour sensitive and Nero suits them really well, and those wheels really help too.

Has me wondering if I might be better with yellow wheel centres rather than black now....

Not letting your Maranello go are you Bertie?

Just spotted this holding ad in the classifieds: Modern & Historic Motors, Henley claim to have a TDF Manual 575M due in..

http://goo.gl/aI0e1V

Nothing on their website as yet...

As far as I know mine is sat in my garage, so unless the wife has other plans...

Seriously, no, that's a keeper.

Nope for starters centre console is completely different
The pics in the advert Mogul posted which says it's coming in are not the actual car, it says they are of a similar vehicle, so it could be that one from NI.

To the point made earlier on whether people notice the car or not - I recently took a test drive of one from HR owen London. I don't remember anyone noticing it even when driving through Hyde park which was surprising

Overall I thought it was beautifully finished inside, dead easy to drive, very direct steering but seemed a bit too much like a normal car to me. Maybe that was the town driving but I came away thinking it lacked some fun
There's no fun to be had tootling round London, get it on a decent road!

Still feels special all of the time even so.

I have found a car and hope to have a deal tied up shortly.

What are opinions on paint protection film? I am considering having it put on the car.
I don't like it, never seen one that you can't see quite obviously, if save my money.

Lovely bertie, are you doing lots of miles in yours?
I don't really do big miles in anything, but I find I use the FF more than any of the others as it's just so usable.
Wife loves driving it too.

I wasn't convinced when they came out, but I have to say it's a very complete package and much more presence in the flesh than in pictures.

Has anyone managed to upload music to the HDD any way other than recording CDs one by one.

I'd really like to upload my music library by say just sticking my iTunes library on a memory stick and transferring it.

My tyres are nearly due for changing so I'm wondering about sticking a set of winter or all season tyres on it.

Anyone else got any one, any recommendations?

I agree with everything said above, I use mine daily and its epic.

Only thing I'd add is that I've just put some Pirelli Sotto Zero winter tyres on and it's made a great car even better.

Have to say they weren't easy to find in the right sizes, I ended up with an official dealer getting me a set.

Another option is to keep the stock exhaust and get the dealer to disconnect the valves (so it's "loud" all the time). I've had it done to several cars. Makes a nice difference if the car is just that little bit too quiet.
If you want to do that 2 minutes with some garden wire and you can pin the valves open

I'm guessing the car has front and rear cameras.

The button switches on front view and switches between front side view and front straight down view, hand for pulling up to kerbs.
