That is if you spec the roll cage option.

Bit of thread hijack here, apologies.

Looking to trade my Rapide in for an FF; haven’t found my ideal spec yet but have run the numbers with FFS and they are quoting an APR in the region of 9.7% with a 40% deposit over 3yrs. Does anyone have any recent experience of negotiating them down or are they firmly in the price setting seat at this point in time? Thanks in advance.

9.7% is triple what you can probably get from your bank?

They won’t offer (or at least I doubt it) a chunky balloon payment at maturity however.

Ah yes ok.

Would you be paying the balloon at the end? If yes then just borrow the whole balance from the bank after the deposit?

Yes, balloon due after 3yrs, which can then be refinanced again if I want to keep the car. Or settle and roll into something else with the equity.

Do you have to use FFS? Could you not speak to someone like Oracle Finance, see what they offer?

I’ve never used them but heard they’re competitive. Am sure there are others too.

Can’t get enough of the Lusso.

The FF was great but the Lusso is a huge step on.

After a sneaky visit to a main dealer on Saturday, I've decided an FF is the only option as a replacement to the RS6.. just a case now of finding the right car. It seems that the cars out there at the moment aren't selling quickly and little new stock is coming to the market. Perhaps a sign that people are hanging on to their cars and the cars out there just don't happen to be the best ones.. either quite high miles or interesting specs. Ideally looking for grey, blue, black with tan or black interior. Max 20k miles and some balance of Ferrari warranty would be nice, fairly open to other spec.. and of course the later the car the better!

Reassuring to see some higher mile cars out there but as mine will be daily mode of transport I don't want to be worrying about mileage so the lower the better within reason.

I had a FF 64 plate Grey black interior and sold it a few months a go for a RS6, I loved the FF an amazing car in so many ways, the sound of the V12 was the best, it drove really well and looked amazing too, but I found it to flash and didn't like the attention so it had to go, they are not selling like you say and the same cars are still for sale that was up before I bought mine, I don't know why as they are such a great all round car and to be able to fit 4 x adults can't do that with many 2 door cars, they are a very log and wide car so not easy to park in car parks. really happy with the RS6 but miss the FF a lot, hope you find the right one

Well it's a year later than I wanted but finally managed to get a FF bought. Picking it up on Friday hopefully.
To Bertie,
Just wondering how you're getting on with the interior of the lusso?
Obviously a big step up with the quality of the interfaces etc but just wondered what you thought about the build quality, any significant upgrade?
Also just wondered how many miles people have on their cars? Anyone done over 20k in their ownership?
Cheers

Doesn't happen to be the Grigio Silverstone car from Ferrari Colchester by chance?

I have done about 45k km over the last 3 years. Only major issue so far is the gearbox seal - just been replaced for the 2nd time. First time 12 months ago it spilled oil all over the road and left me stranded. This year I realised at some point that it does not want to shift from 6 to 7 at high revs, so had it checked - seems to be the same issue as last year. Haven't picked up the car yet/spoken to them, so tbc for now.

Still the best car I have ever owned - just does everything well. Petrol consumption is atrocious though

Personally I prefer the looks of the FF over the GTC4
Test drove an 812 last weekend - holy crap that thing is fast, made my Scuderia seem like it does not have any power at all

Thanks for the info, how many Km's were on the car when the first seal failed?

Looking forward to getting the car now as I've not had a ferrari for 5 years and I've missed not having one.

I hope you get your car back soon and it's not anything worse than expected.

Cheers
