They've got their 812 and portofinos there at the moment as well. 812 looks good. Portofino nice step over the Cali t imo.

The 812 is beautiful huh?

One thing I couldn't figure out is how little space there is inside...smaller than my 458 I reckon.

Isle of man plate! Will keep an eye out for you, I help run the supertour event over here, can give you some details for next year's event of your interested, we had a decent turnout this year, not nearly enough v12 noise though wink

Sorry to disappoint but I live in England, bought the car which had an Isle of Man last owner.

Otherwise I'm sure it would have been lovely to take her out for the occasion.

Bloody suicidal pigeon flew straight into my bonnet today, left a stone chip type mark on the bonnet, need to get the protection film replaced also. Gutted.

Shame about the pigeon obviously but it flew at me like a Stuka bomber!

Hope this isn’t true although they’d know full well if over the prescribed limit from roadside breath test etc.

Huge shame about the FF damage though, write off?

I seem to be back on these, the thought of an FF isn't going away
What seems to be the take on them ?
I've whittled it down to two.
One with low miles, not much carbon but facelift stereo & no visible signs of paint & no pan roof
The other is slightly higher mileage, not my preferred colour combo but good spec & pan roof

Miles are not a problem on these - mine is now on c 60k km
I don’t have the pan roof, but would quite like it. Others wrote that it is more for rear passengers though
Great cars, there is no better daily imo (you will spend a lot of time at petrol stations though - the rate at which it drinks the stuff is unbelievable)

How have you faired with the warranty ?
One of my concerns is how are they to shift on once I've had my fill.
Seem to be a few have been for sale for a while.

I have warranty and used it too - had 2 gearbox repairs so far
otherwise no issues apart from the usual electrical gremlins that I just ignore / use the battery cut-off from time to time
they do not like salt though, quite a bit of surface rust on the mesh and the screws on the brake discs (which Ferrari won't replace as Brembo only supplies the entire disc assembly)

I imagine those repairs would be somewhat pricey outside of warranty. Just out of curiosity were they related? I'd love to get one of these one day but I've heard of the odd gearbox issue from other owners, which make it somewhat less appealing than my ten year old 612 was a couple of years ago.

I suspect they were related but did not ask.
I considered letting the warranty laps but have not done so so far
The problem is that the working hour is now so expensive - in Germany I think 180 euros - which makes any type of repair expensive. When I was still in the UK, I had access to relatively affordable independents, which made running an old Ferrari a lot more acceptable.
