Useful read this ... And congrats on a stunning car Bertie.

Been toying with an FF, GTC, Vanquish or new Cali T recently .... thinking 4 seats (or 2+2) would enable us to use the car more than just 2, so I called in to GrayPaul at the weekend and was very impressed with the FF cabin and rear space, although not driven one yet, black looked stunning, but their Silver one would stay clean for longer (just doesn't look quite so nice IMO).

I also saw the Cali T for the first time (in white/nero) and that also looked very nice and cabin also seems improved over my old Cali as does the front end. Ferrari really do seem to have the interiors right on their latest cars.

Only issue being the stunning F12 lurking in the corner (also in White) which I've not stopped thinking about since ha ha ... Need to drive them to see if they can tempt me, but I fear it could be another Head Vs Heart dilemma coming up !!

Enjoy the car, lovely colour combo.
It was nice to meet you at the weekend and show you and your mate the cars. I agree with you as nice as the cali t and the FF are the white f12 lurking in the corner is gorgeous and that engine..!! Did like the look of your toy tho that looked amazing driving off and sounded amazing too. Im sure i will see you back here for a drive in them soon.

It's bee out being used every day, rain shine or snow!

But it just seemed reasonable to wait for a dry road before deploying 650bhp!
They are fun in the snow....

You'll be able to source a 10k mile car for around that. That's effectively 100k off for 10k miles given the typical list price of over 250k...m
Go see a few - the specs can vary significantly though...

Must be worth a few of the specialist dealers that stock/sell these kind of cars ? I'm sure deals get done before they ever get near being on websites.

It's a low volume car into the UK - 50-75 a year. A small number maybe 20% will change hands each year. You will have to hold out a while if you are very specific in your needs.

I would be less worried about miles on these - I see them being less mileage sensitive than other Ferraris as they are made to be driven year round.

Having gone back for a drive last weekend, I was really surprised at just how good the FF is to drive.

I then spent the week watching Chris Harris's & Harry Metcalfe's reviews of the FF many times over, and wheying up options & costs eek to which I then applied a LOT of man maths which made owning an FF seem much more sensible (almost profitable ha ha), then I popped back and treated myself for my birthday .... should pick her up early March once it's been prepped and had paint protection etc applied.

Spec is 2014 Nero Black car. 2k mls, with cream diamond stitch leather, glass roof, passenger display, rear entertainment and lots of shiny carbon bits.

Yes it will probably depreciate like a stone, but we're only here once!

Now comes "the long wait" whistle

Sorry I had missed this James. Yes thanks for your time in showing us around all the cars the other week ... as much as I loved the look of that white F12, I managed to stay strong and went for the 4 seater (which is what I came over to see in the first place). I've decided over the weekend to hold on to the green machine for a little while, just to make sure the FF fully fills the space before letting her go. Having a more useable car was a head over heart decision, so I might have to find a way of justifying having both.

Looks fab, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Very different thing to the Aventador I would imagine, not got the shock and awe, but so much more usable, a slow burner.

I think FFs are really colour sensitive and Nero suits them really well, and those wheels really help too.

Has me wondering if I might be better with yellow wheel centres rather than black now....
