£119k!
£105k per their facebook page: https://m.facebook.com/SilverstoneAuctions?refsrc=...
There has never been a better time to buy a 456.They are a great GT.Front engined V12 is magnificent, and as any owner of a Ferrari knows they are costly to maintain. This was one of the most expensive supercars so it fits the bill.Fortunately most are reliable with many high mileage examples.Irun a superamerica and a Bentley continental T.The 456 is a greatly underated car and would strongly advise buying well and enjoying an appreciating asset

i don't have one of these, so have zero experience, so that's useful isn't it !!! however, what a good looking car, i have always liked these as much for there understated looks as anything. So, do go right ahead and make a purchase, if only to keep me happy. . . but not green....saw one in Cookham, Berkshire (i think) in green. . .Yuk.
The blue suits it well in my 100% no experience opinion
Mine's green. The blue suits it well in my 100% no experience opinion
An early manual 456 with sensible miles (so read really high for a Ferrari) sold from an asking price of £40k on the south coast in the last few weeks.
My first thought was the price for a private sale was a bit much but assuming they didn't drop alot it would seem the prices are going up.

i bought mine from a fellow PH'er (top chap) i pretty much decided to buy it 1 minute after seeing it as it had being ridiculously well looked after, i have only driven it once but i decided that if i handy have bought it when i did then i thought that i would have missed the boat.....

Must be a good time to buy a 456, the only problem is trying to find a manual non silver/yellow RHD car. For me they have always looked great in an understated mature way and from what I read in the classic car press and PH, are now very popular and sought after.
A yellow manual GT sold recently for £55k so not everyone shares your views on colour.(Having a silver one I certainly don't, it's very easy to leave parked up unnoticed)
The rest I agree with
