Saw your car today at Goodwood. Looks pristine
I came in the black 308 GTS a couple of cars down. It was definitely not washed but the drive down was great, no traffic and most trip spent at over 4k revs, especially in the twisties

For the first time, my CS didn't get under my skin like it used to. Left with very mixed emotions as to cash out now, or just treat it like an investment and cash out when it's higher in about 5 years. It's not like it's a drag to drive...
In fairness, what in the world could replace it at £200,000 that is even more exciting (modern or classic, I'm open to both!)? Familiarity breeds contempt, it would appear...

Maybe it is familiarity but as you already know, it is one of the best driving experiences you can have. If you don't need to sell to buy another, then maybe mothball it for a while. When you get back into it, you may find it still stirs you and ticks all the boxes. If it appreciates in the process then that's an added bonus. If it goes stratospheric, you will definitely miss it
I have had my 308 since 1997 and my 355 since 2003 and over that time my enthusiasm does fluctuate but not for very long and when I get back into driving them I really appreciate each ones character and experience.
Even with the strad being the new toy (well 1yr and 2000km in) I still alternate.

Hi
Anyone bought recently. I would be interested in actual prices not advert prices.
I realise they'll be opinions - owners talking up and buyers talking down so would prefer facts or real life knowledge. my friendly dealers are saying don't buy yet as its dead so prices are to come down.
Thanks.

There are only 119 RHD ones in the world so a low miler, given the desirability of the CS over anything more modern means a bit of change (£20k) from £300k is realistic for the best ones.Anyone bought recently. I would be interested in actual prices not advert prices.

Everyone is pessimistically talking about price corrections all over the place, but they are worth what people will pay. Can't see them going down as its irreplaceable.
a 997 RS 4.0 could fall in value if / when Porsche bring out a manual version of the latest RS or even the next gen one.
That's not really going to happen with the CS as new Fezza's will be turbos and nothing can ever sound as loud as a CS again from the factory!
In Spring there was a small flurry of RHD cars around the 18/23k miles mark that cleared between £215/235. Lower mileage examples seemed to be well above £250k. I paid £215,000 for mine from a Ferrari independent in March with impeccable FSH and 19,500 miles on the clock. I have no idea if prices up or down from then, and frankly I don't really care. It is an irreplaceable epic car.
