Well, if that's true then this new addition to the classifieds is a bargain!

What kind of slice would a marque specialist take to sell a car?
In my experience on £100k plus value vehicles, between £3 and £5K plus VAT depending on who and how hard you haggle. But, of course, I might be making that up as well http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...

Hi mate, wasn't suggesting you were making it up BTW. I'm sure you know that, but just in case... I know that this particular Porsche dealer has sold a lot of Stradales, so probably getting asking price. Hope someone on here buys it! I'm quite tempted by the yellow, but mine is black which I love.

As with other slightly older specialist classics e.g. Porsche 964RS & 993RS, as time passes LHD for a particular model becomes acceptable in the UK. Then as years go by the price 'spread' between LHD & RHD narrows up. Thats happening with CS now. And it seems to be LHD rising up to RHD prices rather than the other way round...which is nice!

I saw that car saturday when picking up my old R107 SL300 from mr911 - he had it stored over the winter and serviced for the summer...anyways, never thought i'd like yellow, but that thing was glorious. It is mint and it really made me miss my Strad: might ask him to go hunt for another LHD in the fall again(it was that good)!http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/f...
Black leather interior also worked really well with it, sober it a little.
Quite sure it will sell easily...especially compared to RHD.
and I would actually consider a yellow one now having seen this, and but probabaly without a stripe.
And another for the thread. This time with DK Engineering. LHD market is certainly hotting up and it would appear DK imported this one in specifically to sell on.

I cant see if it has been discussed already but does anyone know of the CS Dick Lovett have forsale?
Been on sale since May, miles are high against others for sale, and from what I recall it does not have FSH.Inverted said:

Must be looking for a very quick sale at that price, unless there is a good reason for it being so cheap against the market value of a cs.AmoCS said:

I saw this private sale car at a meet and its a minter. DK car was lovely as well but has sold and mr911 car is higher mileage/lesser spec. A company called Vantari have a car a bit more expensive but very oddly it seems to have F430 seats (unless that was ever an option on a CS?!)
Mirrors don't look CS either.AmoCS said:

...no theyre the cheaper after market ones which don't hinge and on my second look, the exhaust is wrong and the mats are missing. Very odd. Perhaps someone changed these over. I wouldnt want anything other than stock though on a CS, its perfect as it came out of the factory.richardmeaks said:

Whats wrong with the exhaust? Wheel bolts aren't titanium though.
As you've suggested the Vantari car mirrors arent right (theyre the cheaper repro ones without hinges that some 360 owners fit to their cars as a mod) and the seats are from an F430. If you look carefully on the photos of the rear, it looks like the exhaust tips are different (not stock CS) - they appear to have a slightly grooved inner ring with an outer ring on top - they also look slightly too large. Its hard to tell from the photo though.Gassing Station | Ferrari Classics | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
