I sold my cs back in late may and purchased a balboni lp550-2, the power increase was great and the car feels great in corsa, but the noise just wasn't the same even with two extra cylinders to vocalize. so having spent a few months scouring the net for another cs to pick up in Europe i finally found one. it only came on the market a week ago and i didn't waste time going over to see it and inspect all the particulars. having dotted the i's and crossed the t's i was ready to make an offer and have just completed the deal today. the spec of my old cs was rather special and one i had not seen before in that combination, finding another one like it would be a hard task but i am very happy with the spec it has.

LHD, Scuderia red, factory stripe, red painted calipers, roll bar, fire extinguisher, radio, red and black leather seats, full harness, alcantara upper dash, leather bottom dash, two tone leather steering wheel, alcantara side sills, plaques, stone chip guard on front end of the car, 7800 miles, two owners, brakes and clutch in great condition, full Ferrari service history.

very excited to put this one back in my stable and put some miles on it in spring.

Waow another yellow has sold! Didn't think yellow was great but after having seen one it's not bad at all, really suits the beast!

These things are flying off the shelves, I guess good cars always sell. Must be like the 5-6th LHD MR911 sells, I guess he knows where to pick the right ones.
And it looks like he may have sourced another red one - says "incoming"

Makes me almost regret not buying the silver one I saw in Germany a couple weeks ago, instead of my 575HGTC.

Lucky owner.

Not sure about flying off the shelves. That yellow one has been on sale since July.

£130k is the going rate now for c.10k to 15k mile LHD cars. Unless of course DK get £135k for theirs...

The first "POA" LHD Stradale has arrived! Not sure what all the fuss about Lexan windows is though...

That's my old cs, I picked up on Germany last December. Excellent car and I know what he paid me so I am guessing he is asking 145k

From the pics that CS seems to be sitting a little high.

Cheap as chips!

They've seen this 288GTO just go for £1.8mm http://rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1071870
and this F40 for £850K http://rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1071732

Stradale is not quite the same category of Fez as these two, but its not far off...and rarer than F40 (I think?)

The Porsche market has gone mental over the last 12 months whilst the Fez market has been more subdued. I think if 'the market' in general keeps going we'll see a switch back to Fez. 964RS/993RS are £175K to £300/400 pick a number! OK they are slightly older than CS, but if I were an 'investor' I'd far rather buy a CS than a rare Porsche at these levels.

So sell your Fezzers and buy Porsche!! LOL

I hadn't had a look at the CS classifieds for a while but I guess they have broken through £200k now? Have any sold for more yet? That means 16m, scud, strad and 458 spec are all 'about' the same value now for 10k mile-ish cars. NUTS!

I never thought a Stradale would fetch more than an equivalent 16M but it didn't take long to overtake the Scuderia so I guess its going to pass the 16M soon if not already.

Would I straight swap my nero daytona, 15k mile, one owner Stradale for a 16M and would the 16M owner take that swap? Thats a really tough one and would either of us swap for a 458 spec?

Regarding Porsche I follow the 997 GT3 market and its reached a new high this afternoon with a mexico blue RHD 4.0RS at £375k which is around £100k premium on a non standard black or white model really.

Monetary value differences aside, I wouldn't swap my (LHD) CS for a Scud or 16m, no chance, LHD or RHD. For a Speciale, probably, but only because its the current 'new best thing'. In 10-15 years time I think the CS will have so much clear daylight between it and all of the above value wise that even the LHDs will be worth more. The CS is not the quickest and not the most capable but its the original and best (sounding) of the light weight variants (aside from his highness the F40 of course!)......

I agree. I've been through the same 'should I swap for newer' thought process, but I know I'd regret it. Absolute speed is not everything and the looks of the CS are to die for...
