Nice to hear the Aperta is getting some serious use!

Still got my Scud, don't think i'll sell it unless the cost of change to an F40 becomes more reasonable..

Will drop you a message if i'm over that way. Cheers

8620 Miles

Perhaps blurb is there to entice a collector who might just be looking for a return and not be that clued up about the model.

Hey guys,

hope you can give some advice, I am currently in the market for a fun car for road trips twice a year and also hopefully for a future investment. If it comes down to the car I most like the look of interior / exterior wise it would be the 430 Scud. However if its the best investment option that must be the CS. Havent driven either have a DBS which will be retained. I have been offered a scud for £185k with 17000 mile good looked after call with full history.

thanks
mike

Try both, you might not like them! I wouldn't count on either as an investment, prices on both are riding high and who knows where they will go.

Hi Mike, i've had a scud for the last 3 years and recently bought a CS. They are both quite different cars to drive and the difference in performance is noticeable, my overall feeling is that the CS has much more of a fun feel to it but the Scud is noticeably quicker which is to be expected - as per the previous post a test drive would be your best best. There are quite a few Scud's available at the moment so not sure about future investment potential (but things can change quickly in this crazy market) the upside is you have got a good choice of Scuds to choose from at the moment. Good luck smile

I've had both the cs and the scud in the last few years, the cs is just a little bit more my taste if honest.

The scud is very fast and the f1 box is lightning in shifts. But it's not as pretty as a cs and the noise is not quite the same if honest. I was driving the scud back from Frankfurt and happened upon a 458, we both got a little carried away and surprising the scud was able to hold its own. A cs would be left way behind as it's not nearly as powerful but that's not the selling point of a cs. If you can get a nice spec cs I would pounce on it the price will continue to climb without a doubt.

Great clip, enjoyed that. The CS is absolutley brutal - When test driving a recently sourced one I didn't go anywhere near that with the loud pedal, but past experience of driving 360/430/458's told me straight away that this was a total "yob" setup for maximum fun biggrin - Perfect soundtrack to be making progress somewhere in the Alps & all those passes!
