Yes, the diff issue is real and does happen.
Mine broke late 2012 during normal speeds along the high street. I was stranded and then pull into a side street. The car was relayed back to Autofficina where Peter and Elias looked at the problem and confirmed it was the diff. Elias has a huge amount of experience on Ferrari's and especially the Testarossa. After a huge strip down of the box and housing the broken diff was confirmed. The diff had essentially broken up big time, causing a lot of damage.
I will post some pictures up over the weekend and finish off this post-sorry work calls

This car, if I remember rightly had 100BHP more than standard but cannot remember if it had cams done etc etc. ADZ will know! But a Rossa on carbs is pure 70s F1!!
Speedster knows as he owns that car now But yes it was about 480 bhp that car, the engine was built by a motorsport company (name escapes me now) who raced Rossa's in the Ferrari Challenge Cup. Had straight cut gears and 360 brakes too.
Immense fun to drive, completely different than a standard Rossa. The sound is out of this world!
