The engine looks fantastic there, very shiny!
should see it now its back in the car, I never get bored of looking at it, it looks as it sounds now, a special one off, it certainly got some attention when I drove it back home at rush hour which was interesting with a race clutch.ro55a said:
That must sound epic, 7000 rpm, windows down and a very long tunnel!
it is the purist car are have ever owned or driven, even auto italia commented that it wasn't one for the faint hearted and when driven the only think missing was a race helmet and that's exactly why I love it. The sound is pure undiluted 500 Italian horses and not one electronic aid to been seen. Driving it is like having a relationship with a serial killer but that's the appeal of it, it keeps you awake and alert and earning its respect is a great achievement you want to do over and over againA great result for Testarossas at the Silverstone Classic Auction at the weekend.

This car was for sale privately when I was looking for one, but I was put off by the 'Cat C'. I understand why people don't mind owning Cat listed cars though.
Looks like it was bought by Harry Metcalfe! (Countach owner and of Ex Evo Magazine fame)

Yep that is very good money for a Cat C car and remember there would have been a hefty buyers premium on top of that, taking it nearer to the £65 K mark!!
Now watch as the prices of TR's jumps again as Mr Metcalfe adds he own brand of market inflation, just look what he did for the Zonda and then the Countach after that. Plus it will be great to see his articles, modifications or improvements to the current car, looking forward to an Evo video along the route Napoleon!

I saw one in London Yesterday plate was "H653 DMX"
A sorry sight as I passed it this morning and hope no-one was hurt. Despite it all appearing to be in hand, I passed 2 other cars heading for the scene with lights going, to join the existing police car, highways agency discovery and motorbike...
