Excellent colour choice!!!!

Where are you based? I'd love to get my silver GTB together with your silver GTS for a Photoshoot!

Nice...I'm not usually a silver Fez fan, but that looks fabulous with the tan leather - congrats!

Silverstone Auctions sold a 328 GTS for 77k at the weekend, and a carb 308 GTS for 82k!

Just noticed that there is a low mileage 1987 pre ABS 328 GTS for sale at the trusted Hindhead Surrey dealer with excellent history - 'call for price'. They also have another 1987 metallic blue 328 GTS 'due shortly'. Presume there will be a lot of interest in acquiring these cars and would be interesting to know their advertised price.
They're not going to have an advertised price though, they'll both be P.O.A so that they can adapt the price as the market moves.

If you're really interested in the price simply ring them up and ask.

As a reference, Clinkard Performance Cars (no affiliation), have a 10K miles 328 GTS up for £80K (TBH, I'm a bit surprised that they're advertising it with a set price in the advert).

It would be interesting to compare the price of the blue "coming soon" 328 GTS and compare it to the identical car at Nuvola London with 64K miles on it (advertised at a tempting £45K - can that price be right with the market as it is at the moment?).

(I did wonder if they'd bought the Nuvola car and were instantly re-selling it for a big profit but they don't appear to be the same car).
I must confess, I bought the Blue 328 GTS at Nuvola London, after umming and arring continuously throughout the whole of June not to mention a generous sprinkling of sleepless nights I decided that if I didn't act now I would probably be priced out of the market for good. I took delivery 6 days ago and I'm still in shock, I have to escape from the house at every given opportunity just to sit in the garage and soak in her endlessly gorgeous mini Berlinetta Boxer curves. How could these machines have ever dipped down to the values they were at only 6 or 7 years ago. They are simply magnificent and beautifully put to together, in fact its general solidity and rattle free cabin are the things that have struck me the deepest, the build quality to my mind is on a par with it's contemporary German counterparts. WOW

Bravo : the mileage should not be a problem and whatever happens to the market you won't lose much if the price quoted above is correct - and you'll probably have had much more fun with the car than anyone who has paid twice as much and is frantically trying not to drive them and kill the value with more miles

What part of the country are you ?

Fair play to you! thumbup

As I said at the time, it appeared to be an absolute bargain compared to the others for sale at the time! (If I'd had the money available at the time then you would have had some competition for it! wink ).

I'm glad to hear it was bought by someone who truly appreciates the perfect design! - Enjoy! smile

Thanks guys, your comments are most encouraging, living in London means it sadly wont get used all that often but I will certainly make use of these balmy summer evenings, after a s**t day at the office it's the perfect antidote. I Drove it up to Silverstone Classic on Sunday and I've just now got back from a blast up to the Ace Cafe and back. I still feel uneasy about pulling up at the lights or sitting in traffic with the roof off. I feel almost like a target.... far too conspicuous, I guess I'm not your average Ferrari owner, I want to enjoy it, but in secret... wont be too easy living in this town. Anyhow I've started compiling a "to do" list, I'm never happy unless work is about to get done or is in the process of being done (the true price of being a perfectionist is losing your sanity if everything isn't just right, I wouldn't wish my impossibly anal standards on anyone, it's a curse!), but for the moment (fingers crossed) it's basic stuff (few stone chips, cracked front fog, and new immobiliser fob) I'm also considering a nice quicksilver or Tubi system but my internal manager voice is saying "leave it all standard" but my other bornfree voice is saying "oh come on, you've always been partial to a good exhaust system!" We shall see... BTW I believe that the "other" blue 328 GTS being advertised by the "trusted Hindhead Surrey dealer" is in fact my car because having looked through the service history they serviced and maintained it for many years and since my purchasing it it appears to have been mysteriously removed from their website.

@aero8, it's a very light "crema hide" in fact it's much closer to white than crema.

Tbh no point in going for a 'performance' exhaust. These aren't flat plane engines. I had a Quicksilver SuperSport on my QV and it just made it boomy. It'll never sound like a tubi'd 355...

Your car looks like one I owned in the past. If it is, let me know as I can let you know some of its history
