Can someone confirm where this is this year and if it's open to non(ex) members?

It's in a couple of weeks time 11th and 12th July at Stapleford Hall near Melton Mowbray.

Yes it's open to non members - all are welcome.

The club only runs this every 2 years now so expect a big turn out of very nice ferraris.

Thanks for the reply, I actually called the owners club the other day to find out and was told it's only open to members!
Shame as I'm on holiday down south that week and it would of been a nice afternoon diversion.

Must have changed the rules at some point, it used to be open to non-members albeit with a £20 charge IIRC

It used to be very 'Secret Squirrel'
A few years back they wouldn't even give out the location.
Another year, I made the mistake of posting a link to their website with details of the event - they got Ted to remove it.

In fairness they checked my details and said that as an ex FOC member I could have a membership for the remainder of the year for £45 if I wanted to attend. Just not sure how the holiday will pan out next week and if I'd definately be able to make it.

Sorry I assumed it was open to general public. I'm sure nobody would mind (or even notice) if you fancied coming along on the Sunday.

I entered the concours for seven years on the trot up until 2013 and always had non-member friends and relatives in attendance. I'd be amazed if members of the public were not allowed in.

I don't think its closed to the public, just think the FOC for whatever reason don't publicly advertise it. After all, they are normally held a a nice hotel and whats to stop the public coming to have lunch at the hotel or use the spa?

Typically, maddening English summer weather.
But a lot of lovely cars.

I hope you got in - non members £20!

Wow Wow Wow!! What an absolutely fabulous event.. Even if non members where asked for a small donation (per car) I'm sure nobody would dream of moaning.

Great venue and location - you walked up drive to courtyard and passed through arch to gain entry with little warning of what an incredible feast was waiting for you eyes and senses on the other side! Goodness me!! have to say I was on sensory overload trying to take it all in..

I guess the cars being Ferrari are a given and always are going to please but on a personal note I thought the organisation, location and general atmosphere and friendliness really stood out. Reminded me of cars shows and meets of 20 odd years ago.. Nothing too 'heavy' or commercialised just a really relaxed enthusiastic happy feel to it all..

Being honest I recently re joined the Owners Club in part to take advantage of days like these and would suggest others might do the same. Cant believe what I've been missing..!!

I second your comments above. Was a great day. Such a shame the weather didn't play ball in the morning. I've yet to really see a La Ferrari so was a little disappointed not to see one yesterday, but 2 599 Aperta's and countless other beauties made up for it!

The speed humps on the way in and out however looked huge!! Had the FOC measured them before hand?
