I second your comments above. Was a great day. Such a shame the weather didn't play ball in the morning. I've yet to really see a La Ferrari so was a little disappointed not to see one yesterday, but 2 599 Aperta's and countless other beauties made up for it!

The speed humps on the way in and out however looked huge!! Had the FOC measured them before hand?
The humps didn't look too bad from my seat but they certainly slowed progress for others hehe

Typically, maddening English summer weather.
But a lot of lovely cars.

I hope you got in - non members £20!

Great pics there.
Didn't make it unfortunately, couldn't convince rest of the family that it was worth a hundred mile detour and we might not even get in. Shame about the duff information from the owners club when i called.

I have no idea how to post photos on here yet, but there was a F40 unfortunately stuck at the entrance due to it being non adjustable (so no front lift - the owners F50 only just made it over with a lift kit!)

Fabulous day once it had dried up! I thought it was a great event, and as a non Ferrari owner, its quite awe inspiring with some of the things that were there.

For me personally the Concours winner was definitely the star of the show (250 SWB in TDF), but I also absolutely loved the 599 gto in Rosso Fuoco with the tricolore stripe.
The 599 SA Apertas were rather nice, but shame they werent parked together.
White Speciale Aperta was also lovely.
Did anybody spot the Ross Dino (orange) with Grigio Silverstone striped F12, and what were your thoughts? I loved it, it really stood out with the other rosso corsa cars about.

Did anybody else pick out any favourites?

Also good to see a 488 up close, still not overly convinced by the front, but the booty is rather lovely. Sounded half decent being revved but its no 458.

Managed to make it down in the end and what a day! Real feast for the eyes and ears.

The good people at Graypaul were good enough to let me sit in the FF and start it up. Its addictive! On the way out was in convoy for many miles with a 430 Coupe - followed by 360 CS - followed by me in the Cayenne Turbo - followed by an FF - followed by an F12. Needless to say driving down the country roads was a real highlight!

Great day.

No unfortunately not, a friends dad brought down an F50 and Non Cat/Non Adjust F40 down from Near Manchester, F40 couldnt get up the drive and the 50 only just made it with front lift! They were rather annoyed as both cars were meant to enter the concours.

Some really lovely cars, 2 458 Speciale Apertas (one white one rosso corsa), 2 599 SA Apertas - one of which I think is up for sale with tom hartley Junior at the moment. 250 SWB looked vert special and deservedly won. I also personally loved the rosso fuoco with tricolour stripe 599 gto. There were just so many lovely cars including those in the public car park - too many to list. As a first FOC concours event Id been to I loved it!

what did people think to the 488 GTB?

Im not an owner but had friends who were owners who invited me along, awful whether first thing, but was frying in the afternoon in jeans and a shirt.
