Why so little on the Dino

Can someone help me understand Dino prices at the moment? There seem to be a lot listed around the £300k mark but many of these have been for sale for years. Is this a sign that their market price is really below this? What’s the bid-offer spread for one of these?
The cars around the £300k asking price point have in general been riding the coat tails of properly restored examples. The ones I've seen advertised around £300k have largely been titivated cosmetically and have lots of incorrect details. You will probably find in person that they have lots of uneven body work from previous low quality repaints, interiors trimmed in the wrong materials etc and patchy service history with no large bills for complete engine rebuilds etc. They are also highly unlikely to have the correct owners handbook pack and the correct tool and jack kits, all of which cost a considerable 5 figure sum to source nowadays.Once you have seen a properly restored car you will understand why there is a price difference of at least £50k. I can tell you from experience of four Dino restorations that it costs a lot more than £50k to bring a car up to that standard if you buy one at the £300k point. Caveat emptor very much applies when spending at this level as there are some fanciful asking prices out there in relation to the condition of the cars being offered.
