From memory I think it's the wheels that don't help.
Looks like one of those lift kits that you fit on your 4x4, rolleyes
does it actually have an engine it situ ?

Reckon this deserves a mention. What an incredible thing. Perhaps the ultimate in 80's flamboyance - just take a look at those gorgeous BBS alloys!

Back in the early '90s, my late very dear friend hid his 512 bbi in my garage for a couple of years while he went through his divorce. I never got to drive it by the time he retrieved it but I was always impressed by red over black paint scheme. And when I bought my De Tomaso Pantera a couple of years later which had been painted in the GTS scheme, black front hood and black rear deck over red body, I switched it to mimic the 512's look. I thought the sleek lines of the 512 made it one of the best Ferrari silhouettes, and I still think that today. My Pantera below shows why I chose to mimic the 512.

High tberg, nice to see a photo of the Pantera again, stiill looking good ,

Don't come on here much these days as the forum seems to cater more for modern super cars which as good as they are is of no interest to me.

Not sure what's happening to Boxers over here ,they seem to have taken a tumble in price over the last couple of years

although the prestige plate glass showroom windows still seem to be asking either just below or over £300K when privately

owned ones mainly on on-line auctions seem to be struggling to get somewhere between £150K/£200K and even as low as £100/£125K

if modified with a body kit, flared arches and Carlos Fandango wheels, not including pukker built race cars of cause,

I can assume it's the high maintenance costs or the cars on offer are not quite what they seem .

They now seem a bargain compared to the price of the Daytona and the ever rising prices asked for Countach's.

Hope you are keeking well and still enjoying your Pantera in the sunshine, driving
