I know its a 'high miler' but i prefer that as its been driven so usually work. Was surprised that this made just a little over £38k with the fees, was tempted to bid but I keep hearing bad things about CCs

Maybe the prices these cars fetch at auction are an accurate reflection of what people are actually willing to pay for them. Some of the classified prices look like wishful thinking. Also, the front wheels are on the wrong way round. Makes one wonder who's been looking after it.

Sold my F430 through Collecting Cars and had no problems with them unlike the buyer,

Had a word with Collecting Cars and they had a word in the ear of the buyer and the problem was sorted,

A friend of mine sold his Aston via them and he also had no problems unlike with Car and Classic on-line auction.

Maybe more luck than judgement with these on-line auctions ,so easy when your not in the drivers seat.

Thats my thought, I was tracking 348 prices at auction for the last few years and they tend to sell from anywhere between £32k to £50k but usually high 30's to low/mid 40's seems the norm

I was tracking that and was tempted to bid as well.

It went for about what i was expecting tbh

'High' miler, plus technically due a cambelt service and looks in pretty poor condition tbh. A fair bit of body damage and interior looks very worn and grubby compared to a lot of other examples. The is what put me off in the end. Although mechanically it should be ok, cosmetically it looks like it needs a lot oif work to make it look decent.
