I know we are all different, but my view is that the 'magic' of your wedding day is marrying the girl of your dreams. Nothing else matters.

But then again, I'm old school smile

I think having a supercar at the wedding, unless you own one, is crass for all races biggrin

If its good enough for Prince William its good enough for me.

At mine I had a 1900's Silver Ghost worth over £1m. I didn't own it and at the time it was a supercar and I don't see my wedding as crass smile
I even had Curried Goat for evening food and I'm not even of Jamaican heritage. !!! biggrin

Everyone makes a big thing when a asian turn up at weddings with a supercar/s. But on this thread lets make it special on their big day!
It should only be a Rolls or a Bentley for the bride to arrive at church and for them both to leave in after. Anything else unless OWNED by them or their family is CHAV.

I would do this if you were nearer. I've run many people to proms, weddings etc. never taken a penny. If you can help someone then why not. It's just a bit of fun and might make someone's day.

Indeed. I overheard a group of women at work talking a while back about one of them getting married. Being a car freak I stuck my nose in and asked "What car are you having?" and when she said "We're just going to use our Golf" I had to step up.

So, a few months later there I was suited and booted with the car trimmed up. Not a Rolls or Bentley but my 1930 Ford Model A Phaeton. I even had Go Pros running inside and out to record the journey for her and stayed on to give kids at the wedding rides around the hotel grounds which went down really well.

I managed to double book myself as when we finished I had to rush home, get changed and swap cars to head to the Ferry with a load of mates for our annual euro road trip.

Proper car day that. :-) No money exchanged hands. Just a thank you which is all that was needed.

The only problem with doing this, in a vintage car, is that unlike the professionals you have no back up car and as none of my other cars are suitable, had old Bertie broken down or simply just not fancied it that day (which he does occasionally) then she would have been back in the Golf!

Having said that I once did a wedding for a mate's sister in my Alpine White E92 M3. Every tried getting a bride in the back of a 2 door M3 with full wedding dress on? Lets just say its 5 times easier than getting her back out again, with any dignity intact!!

The Ford outside the hotel where the wedding was held:
