Sons wedding in stoke on trent
Discussion
I will not change my name and tell lies to people I am who I am I never said that we were a charity case no one knows what my boy has been through in his life and I would never use his life to make people feel they must help us.all I asked was if someone was willing to drive him to his wedding simply that! ... I would never never pretend to be some one I am not... As for KFC when he wishes harm on a prison officer I do not care if he works 1000 hours a week he can stick his car where the sun doesn't shine... I work hard and with some of the lowest form of human life I think we as public protecting officers deserve more respect than he showed... I would love to see him do my job!!!

Margaret, i don't blame you for asking, but at the same time, i can see KFCs point of view. Your son is not a charity case, or a worthy cause. If he was a wounded soldier or someone who has had some bad luck in his life, then it would be different. Basically, people like KFC have worked hard to obtain your sons dream car, and they don't feel they should share it with anyone who just happens to ask and doesn't deserve it. So the moral of this story is that you should change your user name, and come back with some sob story like they do on X Factor, and i think you will have more luck. Imagine if KFC comes good for you - that would be a result!!
Why the vitriol? The OP asked if anyone would help. She has been perfectly honest but in return has got loads of abuse about freeloading etc. As stated above, if people don't want to/can't help so be it but no need to chastise the lady for trying. As for your idea of lying and changing user name, well that's going to work out well on the day isn't it!!iandc said:

+1, surprised if one is not interested one returns to this thread to post......on a wider scale, this subforum is frequented by many a non-owner..... such treatment of the OP hardly endears us supercar owners to the wider community..... with such vitriol, expect to get not love but the finger at the roundabout, or worse!

Wow at some of the responses in this thread..!!
I own a Ford Mustang and do the odd wedding. Fully insured for weddings equates to about £20 per event.
I know you're after a Lambo but I know of a few Mustang owners near Stoke that maybe able to assist if that's an option drop me a line.
