Reverse Camera

Evening guys, question I have been meaning to ask for a while now, as a rule is the reverse camera any good regards picture quality ?
As far as I am concerned its pretty poor to say the least.
Assuming I could get the quality up is it possible to "plug in" a go pro or other recording device.?

Think it depends what car you're talking about. The Aventador is fine - thank you Audi. The speciale is okay - not the best - but good enough. What car are you talking about?

I found the picture quality adequate although it did have a tendency to white out at a vital moment. Tbh I gave up on it after a while, I just couldn't get used to taking my eyes of of my surroundings during a tricky manoeuvre, staring down at the dash just felt wrong.

Didn't bother with the camera on my new car, much prefer my eyes and parking sensors.

I don't rely on it for reversing I prefer old school methods :-)
The picture is pretty crap to be honest so I wonder if I have a problem or if they are all like that ?
I wouldn't mind being able to see the car behind or even recording for a bit of fun on supercar runs etc if quality was good enough.

I've found the camera on my gallardo-LP to be pretty good and reliable for parking.

The camera is okay, but I had front and back sensors fitted to the diffusers (no drilling of bumper required) and this works really well.

can't see what is wrong with the standard camera on the G for just a quick check when parking. often hard to judge rear distance away from the rear bumper so it's adequate at that but no good for uploading to youtube on a tunnel run if that is what you want to do with it? Where the hell have they got to btw. seems the old network for tunnelling have all either stopped or sold their Lambos
