Choices choices, in many ways swapping out to a new headunit would make sense. However

I like the OEM look
I like having the nav directions in the cluster display
I actually quite like the way the RNS-E Nav works

downsides are the choice of colour on black text is nigh on unreadable with the sun on the screen, no ipod connectivity and no bluetooth

Its been suggested to me that its not that big a job to swap my RNS-E 2G for a RNS-E 3G which brings with it the ability for full IPOD connectivity, newer maps and retains the cluster display

I do not expect this to be cheap and functionality would likly be better in most respects if I just went aftermarket, however thats a question for another day

For today, has anyone fitted the updated RNS-E to a Gallardo and how did you find it?

Also anyone used Hazzydays in Markyate as they seem to be the go to place for this?
