i am a fan of the gallardo but it doesn't escape me that they were coming up with a wide manner of 'special editions' to sell them in the end. i owned and ran a balboni for a while and found it fantastic (e gear), i remember at the time thinking if only the interior was more like the sl and then this thing would be more interesting shaving even more weight. this car looks like just that, and i would be tempted but i have that feeling that gallardo values will just keep going down until they are 50k and even the 'special' variants will suffer great depreciation not as bad as 50k mind. all said and done i would still love to own one of these for a little and experience it again.
Gallardo's Gen1 have already been down to £50k, now you would find it difficult to pick one up for less than £70k. All Gen1s and specials are increasing, with Gen2s non-specials not moving much, so in the short term I disagree.

I'm sure at some point there will be a price correction across all marques. You'd have to be bonkers to spend £280k on a 360CS or £180k on a 997GT3RS.
Your right they are up a bit but I think a big correction is coming across the board, prices are getting silly for some stuff. When it does come gallardos will drop again and with newer cars coming it's hard to think they can hold the 100k mark. Just my impression but I'm not mystic meg.

Nick, I don't think there will be a correction for the gallardo as they haven't attracted silly appreciation this last couple of years like say a Scud or gt3rs...

With cheap borrowing, more people can afford a 70k gallardo, so why correct to 50, whence demnd will be even higher....

The annioversaio has been this money for 2 yrs now, the balboni the biggest apprecaitor... But the volumes are so low they will appeal to collectors...

I also think prices will fall soon(30% fall within 18 months) the problem with the more modern cars is that lots will be on finance and when things get bad they will be the first things to get sold.
