Hi all,

I have a 2006 G spyder. It is on a ctek charger in the garage which works wonderfully. However I had to jumpstart my 911 which sits on the road.

Slight issue, on the Gallardo I cant get the jumper cables into the small slot above the battery to get purchase on the positive and negative terminals.

So the issue will be if the Gallardo’s battery ever goes dead on a roadtrip I’m not going to be able to get cables onto the battery.

Has anyone come across this issue/have a solution?

Many thanks,
BJ

You can take the whole tub out of that front luggage compartment, which gives you full access to the battery. Alterntively get cables with smaller clamps :-)

I've got a jump pack can't remember the brand. Very small thing (with smaller clamps) that fit on much easier so would be fine on a gallardo. That might be worth looking at. Alternatively search for a set of jump leads with smaller clips.
