Soon everyone is going to own a "rare" car being one of the latest particular limited edition - it's becoming rather tedious.

My mother-in-law is rare - only one - any buyers?

This forum is going to be an interesting read in 10 years, just like it was after the last "commodity cycle" in classic car prices.

Buy the cars because you can afford the depreciation and if they appreciate - then enjoy the additional bonus.

Questions on expected value are equally tedious - nobody knows. And vested interests naturally bias their answers!

Performante looks like a lot of fun - enjoy.
Can you post a picture..?

Think they only made 185 of the planned 250 btw, makes it even rarer!
if that's the case then £150k for a 1/185 car isn't a high premium that lambo commands
I'm not sure if anyone will actually pay the extra £200k for a manual gearbox either.

Christ we're talking future values already, so that's another car that nobody will drive!

It is becoming utterly absurd. They are cars not effing Faberge eggs!

I've done 15K in mine in 2 years, which means it will probably be worth 20K less than a garage queen but you know what, when I chop it in for the next wonder-machine I will be laughing myself hoarse at all the fun I've had.

We'll all be dead soon enough anyway, just enjoy yourself for christ sake.

The 650s is the only vehicle on earth that's going to appreciate. We get told this often enough...
Based on current prices I don't think your wrong. Long term, due to very small production volumes, they will appreciate but that's not why mine is a long term keeper. Its because it such a wonderful all round accomplished supercar.

Looking at a Performante as more of a short hooning and in yer face car

Try provoking me and then you will know what relentless is like. Ask yourself who started it and its a free country with a right to reply. Cant change the facts though

With Gallardo manuals now fetching around £350k,
Is that true??

If so, the world's gone even madder.
How can one be worth x3 a manual Murci.........?
Yes, there are currently two LP manuals around the £300-350k mark. And two pre-LP manuals around the £90-100k mark.

I used to have a pre LP manual spider in rosso leto. 6th spider in the country and only one in UK in that spec. Maybe I should've kept it!

I wonder who's idea it was to ask £300k, has to be one of the most overpriced cars on the market right now

Never you mind

Yup, 2 LP manuals, a balboni (the stripey one) and a Singapore edition both over 300K.

Interestingly enough there is a LP560-2 anniversary for 150k. Future classic wink

Your taste in cars is very similar to mine. Lamborghini's and top notch JDM stuff. I used to have a 500bhp fully HKS prepped FD RX7.

I never said or even remotely implied that the Huracan Performante was over priced, I think it's good vfm.
