On a side note does anyone else have a weird cracking popping type noise coming from the roof when they driving over a sudden elevation change. I tend to get it when going from a decline to incline in road or turning into a junction which has a slight elevation change. Its like there is some flex and it causes something above to make a crack pop type noise.

I did have a 'cracking/knocking' type noise that I could hear around the cabin, I though it was a panel creaking or something similar, happened when I went over a bump or dip and more so when I went over the bump on one side of the car. Turned out to be the bolts on the cross brace over the engine, 3 or those had loosened and so was creating a 'creaking' now and again and the noise would sound worse that what the problem would suggest. I had the bolts re-tightened and bee fine since

Looks like 2 x STO Grills PN:4T3820746, your choice of mesh and some kind of black glue/weld.

I fixed this on mine when delivered new. Brought some stainless steel fly screen from eBay. Pushed in a sheet of a3 paper to mark out a template against the rad in store. Cut out a template from paper and used this as a template to cut the fly screen. Pushed in fly screen and job down. Ok, it moves a bit, but still have good condition fins 4 years later.
I had some belter come and view my 1800 mile 6mth old 992 GTS cab who spent over an hour going over the car with a camera, a torch and mirrors.
He travelled 6 hrs on the train to view, and I explicitly told him there would be zero haggling on the price as it was mint before he set off.
He pulled this same issue out of the bag.
Both of the front radiators had around 4 or 5 little stone dings.
He then proceeded to send me on WhatsApp ( whilst he was still outside going over the car ) the actual OPC part numbers and replacing cost for both radiators, and a link to some crowd who make mesh covers to fit in front of the radiators; a total of around £1200.
When he came to tell me how he would only buy the car if I undertook the works that he had detailed, he was promptly told to do one, and I was now too busy to get him back to the train station.
He also mentioned 2 stone chips that he couldn't find again to show me them.
I can imagine the response from Porsche warranty if the car developed a cooling issue with some aesthetically crappy aftermarket mesh covers fitted.
