In the UK this can work for or against you depending on who you are dealing with,

Took a elderly Silver Spirit to a pantomime at the Bournemouth Pavilion ,turned up late so no where to park,Hoping the parking

attendant would have mercy on us as was pouring down ,nodding his head he ushered us to the furthest parking space you could find.

A couple of weeks later same place same car but a different guy said ,you can't leave that lovely car down there, with that he waved us to

the steps of entrance , When we came out the Mayor of Bournemouths Rolls was parked just a little way down the drive giving

her a short walk to the entrance . Think we may have pinched her parking place. That's the English mentality for you,

Must admit always had positive reactions with Lamborghini's ,thumbs up, happy waving smiling faces unlike some of the cars i've owned .
The mayor of Bournemouth is driven around in a Rolls??

Not sure about today but the Mayor was then, From memory it was a black Silver Spur with the reg no EL 1,

Poole council has ARP1 and Southampton TR1,

Recently there has been calls for the Bournemouth council to sell the reg which is valued at £150k,

Getting the thread back on track with a fortuitous picture taken of my LP550-2 outside Lambo Pangbourne earlier today:

It's 3 years since the last post !

There's got to be some new first time new owners, or some previous owners who have now got something more recent.

Lets see them.

Just 12 months now and still can’t believe it. Always has Porsches but the noise of this is epic.

Quite a reserved spec for a Huracan STO

Thanks guys, yes there’s enough going on visually with a STO, that imo it doesn’t need all the sticker packs and contrast paint schemes that’s available from the factory..

So went with an optional and relatively rare colour instead, glad you all like it.. cool

That looks awesome...must admit I'm a little obsessed with the STO as I was recently at Mclaren Hatfield and one came ripping out of the Lambo dealer next door and the sound was incredible. I saw one went quickly this week on AT at £260k which looked well priced. You've had a Performante before how does it compare? I'm tempted to scratch the Lambo itch with a Huracan Evo but then maybe I should go all out and push for the ultimate version?

January of last year I nearly went all in and bought an SVJ Roadster, however as they are so mileage sensitive and I use my cars a lot, it made better sense to buy these two instead... a late 2019 Aventador S Roadster, and one of the last registered (2020 Huracan Perf Spyders).

Yes the Perf was awesome, really a stand out car, reliable, solid and incredibly driveable.. The STO is more of the same but with everything turned up to 11, with added drama and responsiveness. It feels lighter and more nimble, plus it can deal with rough roads better, due to the slightly longer travel suspension.

Imo, you should either buy a Perf or a STO, if you can stretch to it, however an Evo will give you 90% of the experience if that’s what you settle on. As always try and get a test drive, and always get a car checked out with an official dealer for mileage discrepancies. Happy hunting!

That's good insight thx ...Evo Coupes are generally priced close to Performante Coupes (not interested in the Spider variant) but both have held up v well given the recent fall in certain models from other marques. The Evo in particular has held up v well given its a regular production model. The 600LT Spider I currently have is brilliant so I'm happy to hang onto it until 2025 when hopefully the STO will have dropped a little more in that time. Obviously a 765LT is gonna be similar money but if I'm gonna move up to that level the Lambo appeals more...anyway hope you continue to enjoy your car it looks spectacular!
