Hi guys

I'm looking at a 2017 Hurucan LP610-4 Spyder and just looking for a bit of advice re service history etc.

The car has 20k and 3 Lambo stamps. I have seen the invoice for the last service (just done a few hundred miles ago) which was £11k but doesn't seem to have had plugs etc. changed. The dealer is telling me that was a Lambo major service, but it was mainly tyres, suspension bits and a few filters, no plugs or clutch or anything like that.

Could anyone advise as to what should've been done on the first two services at 8k and 15k? Is it just the general oil change and general check over?

Also anything else I should be looking out for?

Cheers.

Tim

That car should have at least six stamps in its service book, unless it’s very cheap and you get it checked by a proper lambo dealer, I’d walk away imo..

Oh, and an authorised dealer will tell you if it’s been ‘clocked’ also.

Thanks S2000. The service manual says every 9000 miles, which seems to be have been done. It's changing the oil every year that has been missed. It has only done around 1k miles in the last 3-4 years which is kind of half an excuse.

Which brings me to your point about being clocked....they can tell whether this has been done yes? Via software checking or just going on the noted mileage from previous services/MOT's etc? Thanks again that's very helpful!

Yes it should have a service every year or 9k whichever soonest so it’s missed three services!
Yes a dealer can interrogate other ecu’s on the car to check the mileage, gearbox for example. As I said tread with caution with a car that’s not been properly maintained to mfrs spec. Good luck!
