Just to add here, make sure you don't put your phone number in - it's probably a reverse-billing premium rate SMS scam. They'll charge you for each text message you receive.

Yes it is.

Only happening on the mobile site, I presume?
It was happening on the normal site but using my phone as I don't like the mobile site.

Haven't used the phone to access it this morning as I'm sat in front of my computer at work.

I got so fed up with it happening on every page last night that I just went and did something else instead.

So why does rhis happen? Have PH chosen to do business with a company that does this sort of thing?

From memory PH sells the advertising space and the advertisers can place what they wish with some caveats, such as no ads with sound, no adult ads, no expanding pop ups etc

Every so often the ad people fk it up, PH have a word and the ads are nuked from orbit, of course when its a weekend this can take time unfortunately

Nope. it's still doing it. Every fking page.

It's so bad I've had to fire up the laptop as I can't even post on here using the phone it's that bad.

And, as mentioned, this is on the ususal site using a phone to access it. Not the mobile site. Haven't bothered checking that as I don't like the layout.

Right, I'm off to read a forum I can access on my phone.

Here too, android. Downloaded an ad blocker app which works if you are rooted. Seems to have cured it.

Oh and PH I will take my free iPhone 5 in black please. hehe

You lot need to start using an old computer. I just fired up a windows '96 computer. Dial up modem and everything! I guess the various viruses and malware saw it and thought 'what TF is this' and got the fook out!

I guess that's why the Ministry of transport still insist on dial ups for on line MOT checks from garages? More secure?

No problems here: both mobile & desktop site are fine on Android (HTC Sensation, ICS, running standard browswer) although I am accessing through WiFi not 3G if that makes a difference.

Not complaining, just for info!
