Because I appear to be looking for something that so few people are selling, I find myself checking the site every day to see if there are any new ads (specifically searching e90 3 series).
Seems to me that you get a different selection when you search on either the new or old classifieds. I'm reasonably sure that new stuff is appearing much more often on the old classifieds than the new.
For the record I'm just listing by date added (newest first) on the new classifieds and age on the old.
Is there something in the new ads which means ads appear much later?

Yes. Currently we are maintaining both sites so the old site for now, gets dealer uploads first then the new.

The other thing to remember is that the default "sort by" setting on the new site is "Newest with images first." This is because it isn't at all uncommon for dealers to submit cars on day one without images, and then resubmit later once the pictures have caught up. So you might want to change that sort order if you want to see the very newest stuff first.
Don't forget that you can also set up email alerts on the new site with very precise criteria, should you be worried about missing something.
