As I've posted elsewhere, ditch the separate 911 forum and let 911 discussions happen in PG. I have a Boxster and I prefer a separate sub-forum as I don't have to wade through the multitude of 911 posts to find stuff relevant to my car.

6 months or so in to this, and what's the position over a review?

6 months, and the new front-engined Porsche forum has 557 posts. Not threads, posts. Traffic is now dead for the front-engined cars....confused

It ain't working, the "general" area still has by far the bulk of the posts on it.

Personally I don't look in the Porsche forum at all any more.

I only realised this when I saw on the Telegraph website (yikes) that Porsche were changing all GT3 engines and thought "How did I miss that?"

As the mods can prob confirm, I just don't bother with the porsche forum either since the changes - i gave it a chance but the split has messed it up so i don't even look there now.

Same here - the same goes with the Supercar forum, used to be so much better; a lot of the old contributors have moved away, which is a massive shame.

I'm looking forward to Len Goodman or Barry Sheene.

Brilliant pic, made me look in the classifieds for 914s, pretty pricey now.

There is a picture thread for 981 Boxsters in the Porsche General area. There are other Boxster/Cayman specific threads which haven't been moved when the Porsche threads were reorganised. Can a mod review and do some housework?

On the basis that you've been monitoring traffic in the 'supercar' fora what's the result of traffic numbers in the Porsche fora?

Are they now sufficiently low to put it back to the way when it worked?
How about now, given that it clearly isn't working?

So there's a '911/Carrera GT' forum and a 'Porsche General' forum.

Here is a screengrab of the 'Porsche General' forum......... where 7 of the 12 threads are about 911's.
