Me too, for about 7-10 days now.

I don´t like it, even clicked it to see if it was an ad "layer" (?) but nothing to see there ?

Thinking "crwdcntrl" reads like "Crowd Control" which sounds a litle Orwellian, a quick Google found this :

http://www.donottrackplus.com/trackers/crwdcntrl.n...

Do not like it even more now, if PH wants to track me please do it more conveniently.

Thanks.

Is this something I've agreed to by clicking ok on some Ts&Cs or something?

I reported my own post from a few days ago but maybe the mods are not the right adressees

or on easter Holidays ? I cannot report this directly to a "techie", hopefully we get an answer to this,

it is inconvenient not to be able to click back.

Sorry for the delay, couldn't move through chocolate Easter Egg issues....

That is very weird and not something I have seen before. Can you let me know what version of IE you are using (Open up the toolbar [or pres the Alt key] and choose Help > About Internet Explorer)

If you are using v11 then can you press F12 and then let me know what Document mode you are running (should be Edge (Default))

Hiya - thanks for the reply.

Yes, IE version 11.

I'm afraid I don't follow the other bit but I wonder if this helps.

Hello Pete,

thanks for the reply, I also have IE 11 (and do not know shyte about the F keys).

I have included two pics as I could not get the code thingie in one pic.

€dit : It seems I am too daft to enlarge the important bits, let´s see if you can read it,

if not I will try to get it better.

You guys tried using Firefox or Chrome?

IE isn't the greatest browser from a security point of view or usability/performance. Each to their own but you should try the above.

My back button is working again........even though reading this feels slightly odd.

I did not add any blocking/anti tracking to my browser , had a Win7 update yesterday,

maybe this somehow "cured" the problem ?

The Problem is back again, seems a german Company called "ad4mat" , at least this appears in the "last visited pages"
visible under the "back" arrow in top left Corner, a click on it leads to this:
http://ad.zanox.com/ppc/?26447726C415101186T&U...

Maybe this is just a german Thing, but still annoying.

Still happening, caused by an ad (or tracking) from unitymedia, a german TV and internet provider
