I'm banned from the Lounge for amateur sleuthing.

A little lost here, more information would be helpful.

Do you really expect an answer MBH? Our evil overlords don't respond to us mere plebs, see threads regarding such items as the disappearance of 'Speed Matters' and 'advertgate' for more details.

We're just content generating mushrooms.

Wtf, what have you done?
I claim I can't be done for it as I'm a semi-pro sleuth.

Too late for that. I just clicked on his profile and found out MBH is a "Lay preacher and part time missile target".

Aw crap, have I just committed an act of amateur sleuthing?

I think it is about revealing details about a poster that would identify the person...or potentially embarrassing stuff...

Ah, so, that would be me, replying to someone who said good job the internet's anonymous, by copying the subject's details from his profile, by way of whimsy.

Shurely shome mishtake? That information is there for all to see, voluntarily put there by the member in question.

Can't be that, can it?

Interesting.

So if a certain PH contributor did this what would be the outcome?

Pages of plebs asking when he's next going to publish yet another mediocre video?

You do realise the rules are applied differently depending on who is posting.

Maybe in this instance there should be some consistency in the metering out of punishment.
