Netscape? as in the bundled browser that came with AOL from a free disk that you found inside computer shopper magazine ?!

surely its time to pull the plug on browsers that pre-date broadband ?
Netscape 4.0 no less - but people out there are still using it on the site - who knows why!
1997 ish.

I am going to make a leap here but anyone that uses a browser that is 17 YEARS old won't be interested in spending ANY money so adverts are a waste of time for this demographic wink

to find out that the internet is more than 17 years old when you remember life before it makes you feel extremely old frown

eh?

PH haven't posted anything to contradict their figure of 160 browsers. I posted a link to an unrelated high traffic site listing some of the browsers they use. If you read that page, you'll see the only sample 1/1000 of the log records, so it's probably missing quite a few of the uncommon browsers.

Which browser /OS are you having problems with?

Those stats also seem to be filtering out some requests from, e.g. various crawlers which PH probably legitimately view as a browser they need to cater for. But curiously not filtering out Apache HttpClient, Python urllib, etc.
