Adverts Slowing PC Down

Can anyone help please? Is there any way I can get rid of these new style screen wraparound ads from Pistonheads? Not only are they very annoying but they also really slow down and have even freezed my computer.

Thanks for that but is there not an option on the Pistonheads website that actually allows you to disable these ads? This is one thing that is very disappointing about the new look site. The ads with sounds are the worst.

For starters, we are putting better rules in place to stop large ads serving at the same time as each other on pages so you should never see an advert that surrounds the page as well as large ads inside the main copy also.

We are limiting the amount of these large rich media ads served to users, so they are spread across the full user base so you should only see it 1 or 2 times per device in the lifetime of the campaign.

We are removing all large rich media ads from any member pages including login or registration as they distract from the main purpose of those pages.
