Keeps logging me out

I'm sure this has been covered before? Running PH on desktop PC Win8.1 through Firefox.

Normally I can stay logged in for days/weeks however now I either get logged out every day or today whilst I'm browsing logged out after 4hrs.

Any clues?

I've subsequently noticed I seem to get logged out after I've posted a reply on a thread. I go back to gassing station go to another thread and I'm logged out. I log back in and clicking the 'return' link I'm directed to an empty reply box to the thread I posted on before being logged out.

Very odd?

Very strange... I will have a look in the backend of what your last logged in page was and see if something is going weird with URLs or something.

Nothing obvious in the back end - are both the URLs on the page www.pistonheads.com, or do you jump between some other URLs?

Same here.

The upside is that it now seems possible to quote a poster and leave a decent length reply with




Spaces



And stuff




Without having 'error' come up and have to go to the desktop site and do a lot of cutting and pasting from the mobile site.

Yep still happening. Using Firefox I usually restore previous pages of which PH is one tab. I now have to log in every day after I refresh the page.

All my other forums/ebay etc refresh normally without logging me out.

It does sound that maybe your cookie is in a tizz... might be worth clearing it and then logging in again to reset it.
