Email verification

This evening I opened the PH website, went to the forums, it auto logged on as me and showed me my forum list as usual.

Went to one of them, read a thread, tried to create a new thread and was diverted to a different PH webpage asking me to verify my email address.

Received email, clicked on link, back to PH website, didn't have to enter any of my details so wasn't a phishing email.

After that I could start a new thread.

Been a member hear for donkeys years - what gives?

One piece of info that may be relevant, I created a couple of classifieds last week and had to reset the password I use in my classifieds account to be the same as the one I use to log into the forums (never understood the reason why they're different accounts?)

Hmmm... a bit weird. The only thing we have reset recently is the T&Cs confirmation again, so not sure why it did this.

All working fine now, but will keep an eye on it.
