Login Changing??

Just had an email from PH saying they are combining the logins for selling and forums (really clever - don't understand why they ever made them separate ...) so I decide to login to the selling one and then change it before end October so do that and system says it has been saved. Log out of selling and then try the new one and no use - try the old one again no use so whilst I don't actually need to get in it seems the system isn't allowing me to.
Hmm .. shambles comes to mind here ... anyone know what is going on?

Later - just been looking at the email from PH and they say I haven't logged in as jimed for 31 mths - a bit worrying as I certainly have and think I haven't actually used the selling one for a long time.

A few weeks back it allowed me to log in and list an advert but would not let me log back in to list item as sold
