the flood protection can't cope with the clock change
check the logs, you will probably see not a single post between utc 01:00 and 02:00 last night

This is website feedback.

You got some genuine feedback on the website's performance from a member.

This prompts sarcastic response from the PH resident muppet.

PH: why is this clown still a moderator?

Thank you for your valued input. Strikes of pot and kettle to me.

A simple thought .... it's an after the fact event; which would appear to occur for 1 hour every year, and at a time when PH is not at its most busiest.

In terms of priorities, I would suggest it's lower down on the scale.

I'm sure the PH team will be delighted to read your inputs.

Sounds like more of a hosting/server issue than a PH Website issue (speaking subjectively about website code and the website itself).
Sometimes these fangled daylight savings times throw up all kind of problems...

I was not suggesting it was or should be a priority, although i could have gone for a more sensible title
but any bug or issue is worth reporting, there could be a web dev scratching his head on Monday trying to figure out why there is a big hole in the logs showing it wasn't working during the clock roll back who'd love to be told users were getting the flood protection message.

Some might argue it's not their heads they scratch tongue out

But in all seriousness, I've highlighted it to the techies, but IIRC it's an annual event.
