Whenever I click on a link to a classified ad within a PH article e.g. the one on the Silverstone auction, I receive an error message - "Ooops, something went wrong" - instead of the target of the link. Does anyone else suffer the same problem, or is it something at my end?

Any car in particular or all of them... I just clicked on a few and got to them fine.

It's all of them, not just in that one feature. I thought it might be something to do with Adblocker, but I've white-listed PH and it still happens.

How technical are you?

I suspect there might be some locally cached pages causing an issue.

Try these to resolve:

On Internet Explorer
Go to Internet Explorer
Click Cog Icon (top right)
Internet Options
Delete
Temporary Internet Files and website files
(or download Chrome as it is much better)
On Chrome
Go to Chrome
Select the three bar menu in top right
Select History
Clear Browsing History
Select Cached images and files
Click Clear browsing data
On Firefox
Go to Firefox
Click on the three bar menu in top right
Select Options
Go to Advanced Tab
Select Network
Where it says Cached Web Content select Clear Now
On Safari
Go to Safari
Click Alt + Cmd + E

Or you could wait a while and eventually it will come back.

OK, done that (I'm on Chrome) but the problem remains. In fact, it's bigger than I thought! I logged in to classifieds and get the same error message when I try to access the 'Buy' section (I can get in to 'Sell'). Any ideas?

Try using an Incognito Window and accessing it, that should use fresh caches.

Yep, worked fine in Incognito, but still not in 'normal'. So it's a cache problem?

Kind of, it is a redirect problem, your machine believes the correct page is the error page and has cached that it should redirect to the error page on visit to the classifieds... It needs to be told to stop doing that.

OK, thanks. Looks as though I'll have to call a geek in as it's beyond my knowledge!
