Classifieds: can't use same email address as forum account

Hi,

I've just registered for a Classifieds account, but my first attempt was thwarted by an error message telling me that my email address was already in use for my forum account.

I can't think of any sensible reason why using the same email address for both should be a problem.

To get round it I did what presumably everyone else does, i.e. used an old email address instead. But it'd be nice if we didn't have to...

Hi Jonny,

The Classifieds and forums have had separate logins for a while now, we are working on combining the 2 but at the minute you can't use your forum email.
