Yup. "Responsive" design - as in "your screen is narrow so you must be on a mobile phone". Try it with a desktop browser - make the window narrow and it'll exhibit the same behaviour.

Finally seems to be working on the pc, after forcing a logout and back in. On the phone (android, chrome) I had to clear all my caches before it would let me in.
The beta2 skin is better on the phone, definately, crap on the PC though.
Very poor I'm afraid, PH is lucky to have such an established userbase that will put up with things like this, in a less established business this would have killed you dead.

Still getting what appears to be random log outs on Safari. Just posted on another thread a few minutes ago, when returning to my stuff I'm logged out? Other times logged in ok from the night before, still ok the next morning. I'm not sure if there is a link to capacity of the site, as it seems most log outs happen during the busiest periods. Whereas with my steam driven work laptop, running windoz, I never have to login even after the upgrade....
Before anyone asks I've Done all the login out, clearing cache routines etc before logging back in, it just seems random to me........

It continues, went onto a YouTube link from the TVR new car thread, came back and I'm logged out. Is this a Safari issue or PH?

If you have logged out, cleared all cookies and then logged back in with Remember Me then you should be all sorted with your cookies and it will remember you... so does sound like either that process has not fully cleared everything up, or an issue with your machine.

My Safari on a Mac always has me logged in without an issue... what is the exact spec you are running (apologies if you have mentioned it before)?

Yep done the log out, cleared cookies, log in - remember me still happens when going away from safari and returning, that I could accept as a iPad issue but it sometimes but inconsistently logs me out between page changes whilst staying in PH and not leaving safari too, normally during peak hours in the evenings.

It's been said several times in this thread that it's no longer possible to log in to the mobile site.

Can you confirm when the not logging in issue will be fixed, or more specifically the needed in click login to go to your normal loggined in page. Every time now I'm having to login. Tried new cookies etc and still no good.

Can you see the 'tick box' next to the remember me on the login page? I say this because was having the same problem and only discovered the tick box when using IE (always use Chrome as a rule) where the tick box was prominently displayed - on going back to PH on Chrome, noticed the tick box but it was very faintly portrayed.

No it does remember me as all I have to do is click login, it just displays all the forums as if I'm not logged in then logs me straight in without the need to enter details by pressing login...

Tomorrow is a month since this new login system was introduced and Safari on iOS still doesn't stay logged in, and judging by the lack of feedback I guess Haymarket don't care. Interesting.

Getting worse, for the last month I simply had to re click login. As of yesterday I now have to type my user details every time.
