Obviously we don't want that to happen, so would like to help you with what you are seeing.

For all the colleagues in the office we now do not have to login again, and all is working fine - so need to understand what is different about your system.

When you say you have to login again - are you having to go to the login page and fill in your username/email and password every time you come back to the site?

Or is it that the site is seeing you as logged out, and then when you go and write a post or view my stuff it logs you back in?
Can I assume none of the staff have iPad's or run Safari, or is just me then.....
You can assume none of us run iPads... but the majority are on a mix of Windows with Chrome, Macs with Safari and Chrome, and iPhones running native browser... which handily represents the same setup as the majority of users.

I have an iPad, that I do not use - but I will run it for a week once charged and then I can see if it is just you smile

iPad has started doing this again for me, the usual logging out if I leave the site.

Yup, cleared everything which is a right pain. Still not working.

When is this going to be sorted? Might give PH a miss until the basics are in place.

I can read, but when I want to reply it takes me to the log in page.
When I type 'M' it autofills Matt UK, but requires a password.
Home PC runs Chrome or IE, iphone runs Safari.

Do you click the remember me option when you login?

I have two iphones (not a boast!). If I log in on one it logs me out on the other. I have not seen this on our iPads just the phones. One is a 5C and the other is a 6

Aha, this morning the PC remembered me! Great.

The iphone is still a problem.
The mobile site is fine to read, but I think I've read it is no longer what I should be using?
So I open a new browser and load PH. I can log in OK. But it's not mobile optimised? It's horrid to use that way. No, impossible to use that way.
Is this how it is or am I doing something wrong?

I've just seen this thread as I've popped in here to mention Login issues. Sorry if they've been covered, I don't have time to read every page.

Every time I go to post on a topic from my iPhone 5S the login page comes up. I enter my CORRECT password but it says it's wrong. I then have to request a reset password email and reset my password to exactly what it already was. I am now sick of doing this every time I want to post so I now rarely post as I'm not at my desktop much.

Any ideas?
Thanks. smile

Been logged out yet again, and had to reset my password as it wouldn't recognise my original.

Bit rubbish still....

The password manager in Chrome doesn't recognise the login page as it's unique each time and so I have to actually find the password and type it in manually.

I think this is due to to the ID in the URL which changes each time

Could you please just hide the ID, a bit of rewrite engine should sort you out (I believe it's URL Rewrite in IIS).
  • cough* any chance of fixing this?
Yes, this is a REAL pain in the backside

I don't know what TLS is, and sorry for hijacking your post, but this is the only way I can post on here now, by quoting someone.

I try to start a topic, reply to a topic and I just get 'sorry, your email address has not been verified yet'. I then apply for a verification code to be sent to my email account, which I then click on, only to be told that the verification link is too old and doesn't apply.

I am then back to square one, unable to post! I had to change my email address recently, which was completed by Racing Pete, but it seems to have caused me nothing but problems on here.

I don't know what TLS is,
It's a Suzuki V-twin. wink

Or Transport Layer Security, designed to give a secure transport mechanism for internet traffic.
